Thermofoil, Polyester, Melamine Doors
It is recommended to use a damp cloth with water and dishwashing
liquid to properly and safely clean thermofoil doors. You should dry
the surface immediately with a clean cloth.
The use of abrasive or solvent-based cleaners is not suggested as it
has the ability to damage the surface of the doors. This type of
application would void the warranty on the doors.
In the event of a minor scratch you can start by applying a good
quality auto wax then polish the surface with a carnauba wax paste.
Wood Doors
Wood doors should be cared for the same as you would any piece of fine wooden furniture.
Self-Cleaning Ovens
IMPORTANT! Self-Cleaning ovens work by generating extremely high heat. Any
thermofoil or polyester (Prestige) doors and drawer fronts adjacent to
the oven should be removed before you start the self-cleaning cycle.
